Nico conveniently teleporting behind Will casually: "Sup."

Y’know? Yeah? This is cool, right?

A headcanon that Nico likes to shadow travel behind Will.

I like the thought that Will is tall enough to cast a shadow big enough for Nico to shadow travel to. Not matter what area he is in.

So whenever you're in a room with Will Solace it is guaranteed Nico Di Angelo will be appearing behind out of nowhere.

Although Will scolds him, he admits that he likes Nico sneaking up behind him and suddenly wrapping his arms around him when doing so.

It's a pleasant surprise he's actually gotten used to quickly. Because he notices Nico always shadow travels behind him whenever overwhelemed or just plain tired of people.

Will is very much content and used to this, but the others aren't so chill about it. It freaks them out everytime they spot Nico glaring at them from behind Will knowing there wasn't ANY body there.

The seven: "Hey, Will? Where's Nico?"

Will: "Huh? Oh he's right here."

Nico with his arms around Will's waist popping his head to the side: "Hi."

The seven: *Unholy screeches.*

The moonlight filtered through the trees, casting dappled patterns on the forest floor. You were supposed to be patrolling—Luke was supposed to be patrolling—but instead, you were backed against the rough bark of a tree, his lips brushing against yours in a way that sent your thoughts spiraling into chaos.

“Luke,” you mumbled between kisses, though you made no effort to stop him. “We’re going to get caught.”

He pulled back slightly, his face so close that his breath warmed your skin. His smirk was maddeningly cocky, the kind that made you simultaneously want to shove him and kiss him again. “Relax,” he said, his voice low and full of amusement. “You worry too much.”

“You don’t worry enough,” you shot back, your hands resting awkwardly on his chest, unsure whether to push him away or pull him closer.

Luke just chuckled, leaning in again, his lips brushing against the corner of your mouth before moving to trail down your jaw. “It’s adorable how you think anyone’s paying attention to us right now.”

You were about to retort when—

“Luke Castellan.”

The sharp voice cut through the quiet of the woods like a blade. Your head snapped toward the source of the sound, and your stomach dropped. Annabeth.

She stood a few feet away, arms crossed and a look of utter disbelief etched on her face. For once, her calculating gaze wasn’t directed at some strategic move in Capture the Flag—it was pinned squarely on the two of you.

“Oh gods,” you muttered under your breath, stepping away from Luke so fast you nearly tripped over a root.

Luke, on the other hand, didn’t seem the least bit fazed. He leaned casually against the tree, his arms crossed over his chest, and gave Annabeth his most infuriating grin. “Hey, Annabeth,” he said, as if she’d just caught him skipping chores and not...well, this.

“‘Hey, Annabeth?’” she repeated, her voice rising slightly. Her eyes flicked between you and Luke, her expression a mix of shock, confusion, and something that looked suspiciously like secondhand embarrassment. “What the hell was that?”

You opened your mouth to explain—or maybe apologize—but no sound came out. Your face was burning so hot you were sure it could rival Apollo’s chariot.

“We were just...uh...” Luke began, his grin widening as he glanced at you.

“Don’t,” Annabeth interrupted, holding up a hand. “Don’t even try to explain.”

Luke shrugged, clearly enjoying himself. “Alright, if you insist.”

“Luke!” you hissed, swatting his arm.

“What?” he said, feigning innocence. “I’m not lying. She told me not to explain.”

Annabeth groaned, pinching the bridge of her nose. “I cannot believe this. You two are supposed to be best friends.”

“We are,” Luke said, the casual tone in his voice almost convincing.

“Best friends don’t...” Annabeth gestured vaguely between the two of you, clearly at a loss for words.

You wanted to sink into the ground and disappear forever. “This isn’t—it’s not—”

“Not what it looked like?” Annabeth supplied, raising an eyebrow.

You nodded furiously, though you weren’t entirely sure what you were agreeing to.

Luke, ever the opportunist, slung an arm around your shoulders, pulling you close enough that you could feel the heat radiating off him. “Come on, Annabeth,” he said, his tone light and teasing. “Can’t two best friends share a kiss now and then without it being a big deal?”

“No!” Annabeth snapped, her face incredulous. “No, they can’t!”

“Well,” Luke said, his smirk practically glowing in the dark, “guess we missed the memo.”

Annabeth threw her hands up in frustration. “You’re both unbelievable.” She turned on her heel and stalked back toward the creek, muttering something about idiocy and never being able to unsee things.

As soon as she was out of earshot, you turned to Luke, your jaw dropping. “What is wrong with you?”

“Nothing,” he said, his expression far too pleased with himself. “That went better than I expected.”

“Better?” you repeated, your voice a mix of disbelief and mortification. “She’s never going to let us live this down.”

“Probably not,” Luke agreed, his grin softening into something almost fond as he looked at you. “But hey, at least now you know what you're dealing with.”

“And what exactly am dealing with?” you asked, narrowing your eyes at him.

Luke’s gaze flicked briefly to your lips before meeting your eyes again. “A best friend who doesn’t play by the rules.”

You rolled your eyes, but the warmth in your chest betrayed you. “You’re insufferable.”

“And yet, here you are,” he teased, leaning in just enough that your noses brushed.

You shoved him lightly, though the smile tugging at your lips was impossible to hide. “Come on,” you said, grabbing his wrist and pulling him in the direction of the creek. “Let’s actually do our job before we get caught again.”

“Whatever you say, best friend,” he said, his laughter echoing through the trees as he followed you.

Adding some more headcanons to my (gay) ace nico headcanon:

I headcanon he figures out his asexuality pretty quick, and comes to terms with it quite well; in fact, he likes being ace and that realisation clarifies a lot for him and his experiences.

100% headcanon that he adores the ace flag and its colour scheme. It fits very well with his colour palette.

He buys (both gay and) ace flag rings and wristbands every time at a pride; it's his go-to merch.

I can actually picture him trying to have an ace community at camp halfblood too.

I understand why rick riordan didn't do it but wouldn't it just be so hilarious if there was another world in which Christianity is its centre. Just imagine the puns, imagine the kinds of confusion among campers that they worshipped only ONE God, imagine their shocked faces.

All we get is that slight mention from Thor that Jesus never turned up to fight him, I just thing this has so much potential as a series tied to this world of myth (the book of the bible alone they could centre on sooo many occasions), but it's not ready for the world right now, it's way to early and possibly will never occur but it is a good concept and I believe Rick Riordan could make it simply a masterpiece, but for him to justify it it would have to be somewhat biased in some direction which is just to early for the world right now.

headcanon that percy stays ready to clock the minotaur. this man would pause his lunch break to give this bull it's horn a third time. this man would dehydrate for two days if it meant he could murk this bull at the end of it. this man's beef with this walking beef is so grandeur. it was the first monster he killed the moment the battle of mamhattan began. this is one of percy's consistent bloodlust moments and no one will ever fault him for it.

then after the events of hoo they adopt all of the seven

and they literally have to buy a bigger table because of the big family dinners they all have

A little headcanon again because I love Solangelo too much.

Imagine Will working past 12:00am due to his duties as a healer in camp. He wouldn't take a break and everyone is fast asleep. Nico pops up behind him and some cheesy song starts to play in the background while he attempts to sway Will into going to sleep:

Will reciting or re-reading through patient records before feeling arms around his waist: "Hmm? Nico?"

Nico who appeared through the shadows: "Will. You're up pretty late hmm?"

Will: "Patient file records. You should be at bed by now."

Nico: "Not when you're awake. We're not having this conversation again, Solace."

Will: "Then don't. Because I'm still on my shift."

Nico: "You're *always* on shifts, though. What's the point?"

Will: *sigh* "I'm needed here."

Nico: "And not with me? What? Am I not enough for you?"

Will: "You know what I mean."

Nico, smirking while burying his head into his nape: "Mhm.. Go to sleep."

Will: "Not today, death boy."

Radio: *Plays "Can't Help Falling In Love With you."*

Nico: *starts to sway him and Will to the beat of the music side-to-side.*

Will: "Mm.. What are you doing?"

Nico: "Attempting to persuade you to sleep."

Will: "By dancing to a this? Really? Wasn't expecting the scary, terrifying son of Hades to be a romantic just to get me to sleep."

Nico: "Well. Is it working?"

Will: "Infuriating, Di Angelo."

I've always wondered why the Romans think demigods all of a sudden started getting claimed? They couldn't know about Percy's deal with Olympus, so what do they think happened?

The gods were probably like "as a reward for fighting in the war we will now claim you all!"

Percy: yeah. Why did you think the god suddenly started claiming everybody?

leo — he was between foster homes a lot and often ended up homeless. he knows the cost because he's spent many times counting out the spare change in his pockets and praying he has enough.

percy — he and sally went/still go on grocery trips, and he rants to annabeth if the price goes up. want to know how the economy's doing? ask percy about bread prices.

demigods who do not know how much an average loaf of bread from the store costs:

annabeth — maybe back when she was with luke and thalia, but she's been in camp half-blood for most of her life. bread just appears on a plate in front of her, who is she to question it.

frank — he's a nepo baby.

hazel — she's been dead for 70 years. seeing what the price has been inflated to now may kill her.

jason — he was raised by wolves. lupa does not have time to worry about the inflation rate of bread.

nico — he was cut off from modern society for 70 years.

piper — she's also a nepo baby. and she spent a lot of time shoplifting, so the illusion of cost doesn't apply to her.

i think it’s a pretty common headcanon that whenever there is a spider, annabeth freaks the fuck out. which is super weird to most people, because she’s like… the bravest person ever. even if you don’t know she’s a demigod, she’s just a badass. but if there’s a spider, she’s screaming bloody murder and jumping up on tables and counters. and of course, percy always comes and kills it for her. no matter what he’s doing or where he is.

but i think what would be even weirder for people (who don’t know her extremely well) is how seriously percy takes it. i feel like girls being scared of spiders and having their male partners come kill it is such a basic ‘weak white girl’ stereotype. and it usually is funny, even to the one who’s scared. so when annabeth does this and starts screaming for percy, people would start laughing. naturally, right? haha it’s so funny that annabeth chase is so scared of bugs. and after percy runs in and takes care of it, they would expect him to be laughing too and poke fun at her.

except it’s the exact opposite. there’s nothing funny about his expression. his jaw is hard-set and his sea green eyes are full of nothing but concern. he does a thorough examination of the surrounding area, makes absolutely sure there aren’t others and gets rid of any webs, and then goes straight to her. and his first question, every single time, is “you okay?” nothing but concern and support. and if the legendary fearless annabeth chase needs her boyfriend/husband to carry her across the room, because she doesn’t want to step on the rug now, you know dam well he’s gonna carry her across the room without a second thought. and you’d better not laugh at her, or else percy’s gonna give you the most scolding glare you’ve ever received, and it’s gonna make your arm/neck hairs stick straight up and your blood turn to ice.

and it would take people off guard every single time. because he’s not laughing at her. he takes her fear completely seriously. and it’s because he knows about her past. he’s seen her face her worst horrors. he knows what happened with arachne.

he knows exactly why she’s so scared of spiders, and to him, there’s nothing funny about it.
